A total of four hundred and twenty-seven Optimisers recently completed our first Micro Masterclass with marvellous results. CONGRATULATIONS to all!
Many of these Optimisers had just finished our first-ever Macros Masterclass, which focuses on dialling in their protein, fats, and carbs.
Once they had their footing with their macros and built a foundation of adequate protein (without excess energy from carbs and fat), they were ready to dial in their vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and amino acids.

Diet Quality Score
Before we get started, we have to explain the Diet Quality Score, our ultimate measurement of nutrient density. It’s not easy to achieve a 100%; you must hit every Optimal Nutrient Intake for all thirty-four essential micronutrients.
As difficult as this may be, we still saw a handful of people hit 100%. Usually, the more experienced veterans dominate the top of the leaderboard. But this time, we saw an exciting number of newbies rise through the ranks!

Diet Quality Score: Most Improved
Achieving a 100% Diet Quality Score is a worthy goal. However, we get most excited when we see people progress or start with their current diet and move towards optimal.
The most-improved leaderboard below shows the massive change in diet quality that can be achieved in just four weeks, as people prioritise foods and meals that contain nutrients they’re currently getting less of.

Glucose Leaderboard
Over the years, we’ve found that most people do best when they focus on one thing at a time. Hence, glucose and weight aren’t as much of a focus in the Micros Masterclass as they are in our Data-Driven Fasting Challenges and Macros Masterclass. However, while it isn’t paramount to track these metabolic markers, many people still recorded their glucose in Nutrient Optimiser during the Micros Masterclass and saw some solid improvements!

Weight Loss
We want to show you how to give your body everything it needs from the food you eat every day. After all, one of the program design features is increased satiety. Because nutrient density is directly proportional to satiety, we feel that maximising nutrient density is a worthy end goal.
As people learn to cram more of all the nutrients into the food they eat, their appetite settles down, their cravings subside, and they eat less without having to restrict their intake consciously.
As a result, some people who still had some weight to lose after working through our other courses dropped weight pretty quickly during the four-week Micros Masterclass.
