Our Coaches

Each coach has been immersed in our Optimising Nutrition for years and is passionate about helping people reach their full potential.  Read their highlights below or click on their name for a longer bio.  

Aimee Gallo

  • Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s in nutrition.
  • Experience: Practising nutritionist since 2004; over 30 years of nutrition study.
  • Specialties: Sports nutrition, functional medicine, weight loss, metabolic syndrome, emotional eating, behaviour change, and positive psychology.
  • Journey: Became a zealous, ethical vegetarian at 12 and stayed that way for 13 years; met Marty Kendall in 2020 and integrated Optimising Nutrition’s practices to overhaul her approach to nutrition coaching.
  • Approach: Emphasises filling nutrient gaps, addressing both logistics and mindset.

Belinda Whittle

  • Education: BSc in History, BA in Business and Accounting.
  • Experience: Over 20 years in nutrition.
  • Specialties: Emotional regulation, thought reframing, diabetes management.
  • Journey: Battled ovarian cancer, binge eating disorder, and Type-2 Diabetes; lost 77 pounds (35 kg) so far with Optimising Nutrition.
  • Approach: Active in the community member and offers practical solutions and genuine understanding.

Alexandra Bucko

  • Education:  Currently studying for a Master’s in Nutrition and Human Sciences and a medical degree (MD); Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering and Management, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) certification.
  • Experience:  Editor and writer for Optimising Nutrition since 2021.
  • Specialties:  Chronic and complex illnesses, autoimmunity, Lyme disease, mould illness, and more.
  • Journey: Diagnosed with multiple diseases at 22; explored various diets before finding success with Marty’s data.
