Wheatgrass and Lime Smoothie

Wheatgrass is often considered to be a ‘superfood’ due to its health benefits.  But this smoothie recipe has been designed for taste as well as a broad spectrum of nutrients.

The protein in this recipe is derived from gelatine, which contains a high amount of glycine, which is essential for sleep and maintaining healthy skin and nails.

Wheatgrass is packed with nutrients and boasts a hefty dose of vitamins A, B2, B3 and B6, as well as iron, manganese, and potassium.  In addition to citrus flavour and vitamin C, grapefruit, lime, kale, and spinach add folate, vitamin K1, and a range of minerals.
