This is what a winning DDF journey looks like – Jennie’s story

Congrats to Jennie who topped the leaderboard in our July 2021 DDF Challenge with a massive 8% weight loss over just four weeks!

I thought it might be useful to share some charts to showcase what the journey can look like and how much progress can be made in a short period.  

Jennie started DDF in the June challenge and just kept powering on till the end of the July challenge, losing a massive 10.3 kg or 22 lbs in 71 days at a phenomenal rate of 3.0% per week.  

Celebrating the small milestones along the way is a critical part of the journey.  Many people find keeping in front of that green target line surprisingly motivating.  

The chart on the left below shows Jennie’s premeal trigger (which dropped from 4.9 mmol/L to 3.9 mmol/L) during the July challenge.  On the right, you can see that, guided by her blood sugar, she was regularly eating between 10 am and 5 pm.
