We LOVE transformations!
By dialling her nutrient density using Nutrient Optimiser, Lauretta experienced a massive transformation and feels great.
After a recent Nutritional Optimisation Masterclass, Lauretta sent me this photo of her in her wedding dress (her long term goal) and looking great!
Lauretta is a beautiful example of the power of Nutritional Optimisation. She started her journey with the Nutrient Optimiser Challenge in March 2019, coming in at #4 on the leaderboard.
Since then, she has leveraged the power of all the tools in the Nutrient Optimiser platform. Her progress and results have been nothing short of amazing, losing 6% body fat and six inches from her waist as she continued to dial in her nutrient density.
As she dialled in her nutrient density using Nutrient Optimiser, she has seen a loss of body fat from all over her body (which she tracked in Nutrient Optimiser)!

Her consistency has been remarkable, always hovering around near the top of the Nutrient Optimiser Leaderboard.
She has been an excellent beta tester for our systems and tools over the past three years!
Lauretta followed the recommendations of Nutrient Optimiser, continually finding new ways to get more of the harder to find nutrients into her diet.
Rather than trying to deprive her body to lose weight and get healthy, her focus has been on giving her body what it needs. Once your body gets what it needs from the food you are eating, you experience satiety and weight loss. Her body knew that it was getting what it needs and no longer need to hold onto the excess weight.
Even her doctor was thrilled with the results and told her to “keep doing whatever you are doing.”
Lauretta has been a great supporter and offered support to others in the community as they have followed in her footsteps to optimise their nutrition at a micronutrient level.
After trying lots of different weight loss approaches in the past, she says that the long term satiety that she has experienced from dial-in both her macros and micros is THE key.
As well as dialing in her micronutrients, she’s also followed the Smart Macros algorithm. A nutrient focused way of eating has allowed her to incorporate more high satiety whole foods rather than just trying to keep carbs low.
She said she found the NutriBooster particularly valuable to identify new foods that would help her dial in her micronutrient profile.
Lauretta has also been a wonderful member of the community cheering on everyone else!
It was lovely to see Lauretta’s response to Camilla topping the nutrient density leaderboard in the first 6 Week Nutritional Nutritional Optimisation Masterclass (see Camilla goes from strength to strength with the Nutritional Optimisation Masterclass).
Sadly, some people can develop an unhealthy obsession restricting food or eating the “right” foods (i.e. orthorexia) in their efforts to lose weight or get healthy. It’s satisfying to see that the tools we have developed, that help people focus on giving their body what it needs, actually set people free from the restriction mentality.
Optimisers still think about food, but it’s no longer in the context of guilt or restriction. They look forward to how much they are going to enjoy their hearty meal as they prioritise nutrient-dense hearty meals that nourish their body.
We have structured the Nutritional Optimisation Masterclass to guide participants to dial in their current diet by trying new foods and phasing out less optimal ones.
It makes it worth the effort that we have put in when we see people thriving and loving living their best life and making such significant progress.
Rather than just lighter, it’s great to see how much happier and more vibrant she looks, enjoying being in her own body!
