Chicken and broccoli

The simple meal of chicken and broccoli is pretty standard fare for bodybuilders trying to lose weight. It provides plenty of protein as well as a reasonable amount of micronutrients with a high protein:energy ratio. 

The chicken brings protein along with zinc, selenium, phosphorus, choline and vitamin B3, B5, B6 and B12 while the broccoli fills in the potassium vitamin C, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.  


One serving provides 380 calories, 56 g of protein, 12 grams of fat and 5 g of net carbs.
